SYRIAN CONFLICTS AND ITS POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS

Hi

Thanks for the follow *, as the reason I write is to share.
* (Though my family and close friends say it would be far more entertaining with a video-camera # in “real life”, rather than in cyberspace!)

# By the way, do they still make them in today’s ever-faster changing world..or is it all done with mobile phones?

(get with the times now,”luddite”* c – it should be a smart phone)

* or so I was often called by my “my techno-geek” friend, Bill (“the gonk”)

“total non-techno” c (who doesn’t possess a mobile phone, after a rather eventful’ experience some years back, whilst trying to walk, talk and chew gum at the same time)

Who says men can’t multi-task!

Kind regards

Dear President Mandela

For many years you have been an inspiration (great) to me in “my exile” far away from ”the Beloved Country” (my wife is a Kiwi). I have often admired the generosity of the human spirit in you. Please accept this short book The End of the Line as a small token of appreciation for all that you have done for “the Beloved Country”..

I wrote this book and The New Rainbow to be published shortly for all the people of our beautiful country. My only regret is that I could not interest any South African publishers in them.

Congratulations on your ‘amabokoboko’, who played so proudly for you and all…

SOUTH AFRICA: The Facts and Stats (1994 from my letter to Walter Sisulu)

A South African Economist and Business Leader

Going back through my old writings on floppy discs (“antiques”) at the very beginning of “the writing journey” (in the days when I was “passionately pumping out letters to the various politicians in SA). It may be of interest in South Africa’s dramatic and relatively peaceful transition to democracy.
Perhaps I’ll turn into a new book. Oh no, not another one, c!

enjoy anyway

Dear Mr Sisulu
The following is a report that I wrote some time ago. I sent it to Mr Trevor Manuel on the 2nd of May this year, It was straight after the Election, but I heard that Mr Manuel had subsequently become a MP. I came across my report the other day and having hearde nothing, I wondered whether it had been received by your department. So I’m sending another one, just in case you are…
